Mrs. Albert W. Russel donated eight Gillett and Johnston bells in 1927 in memory of her parents, Sally Howell Oglebay and Earl W. Oglebay and her first husband, Courtney Burton, Sr.

Fifteen additional bells were donated by her son, Courtney Burton, .in memory of his mother and the late Crispin Oglebay and Miss Kate Oglebay, and other members of the Burton, Howell and Oglebay families.  These were cast by the John Taylor Bell Foundry and dedicated in the spring of 1964.
