Lucille Glasscock donated a 51-bell Eijsbouts carillon in memory of her late husband, Charles Bus Glasscock. The carillon was dedicated on Nov. 21, 1976 by Lowell Smith.
The location near the Gulf of Mexico was not friendly to the bell tower and on June 10, 2002 one of the bells fell from the tower. The other bells were put into storage and the tower was removed on November 3, 2015.
A new steel tower was
built and dedicated on October 3, 2021.
