The Idlewild Presbyterian Church was built in the 1920s with room in its tower for a carillon. Eleven Paccard were installed first and dedicated on May 2, 1982.
Twelve more Paccard bells were installed and were ready to be played on December 15, 1983.
The church continued to buy bells until it had 25 on hand, which were installed and dedicated on May 21, 2000 with a recital given by Jeff Davis
