A carillon of 43 bells cast by the Gillett & Johnson Foundry in Croyden, England was dedicated on October 13, 1926 by Anton Brees. The carillon was a gift of Henry Bucher Swope and is installed in the tower of the Irvine Chapel on the Mercersburg Campus..
Six bells were added in 1996 and several bells have been replaced over time. A 50th bell was added in 2008.
