The bell tower and 47-bell Paccard carillon is a gift from Margre Henningson Durham as a memorial to her mother, Rose P. Henningson, her father, Henning H. Henningson, and siste, Helen Henningson Grimes.
The carillon was first played on December 10, 1988 and was formally dedicated on Thursday, May 18, 1989 with a recital given by Marilyn Kielniarz
