The First-Plymouth Congregational Church raised funds through a subscription drive to buy a 48-bell carillon as a memorial to Carrie Isabelle Raymond. The bells were cast by the John Taylor Bell Foundry in Loughborough, England and was dedicated on May 30, 1931 with a series of recitals given by Anton Brees.
Nine bells were added in 1990 and twenty-eight smaller original bells were also replaced.
