Catherine Stowe Pharr donated a 48-bell Eijsbouts carillon in memory of her husband, William J. Pharr. It was dedicated on June 10, 1984 with a recital given by Frank Della Penna.

The bells were donated to the church by the William J Pharr Foundation and
the Catherine Stowe Pharr Foundation of McAdenville. Catherine Stowe Pharr
made the donation in memory of her late husband, textile executive William
James Pharr. Tucker said forebears of the Pharr and Stowe families were
among the founders of the Belmont church.
