A 47-bell Eijsbouts carillon was installed in the new cathedral and dedicated on October 26, 1969.
The cathedral was not financially viable and was closed and sold in 2007 to a local church. The carillon was stored at Chime Master until it was sold to the University of Washington in 2017.
