A carillon of 23 bells cast by the Gillett & Johnson Foundry in Croyden, England was first played on October 16, 1925 by Percival Price.
The carillon was given in loving memory of Henry Russel, from his wife, Eleanor T. Russel. Russel was president of the Olds Motor Company and the Cass Farm Company, and was also vice president & general counsel of the Michigan Central Railroad.
