Grace Booth Wallace, Harold Lindsay Wallace, and their children gave a carillon to Christ Church Cranbrook in 1927. The carillon began with 61 bells from the John Taylor Bell Foundry in Loughborough, England that was dedicated on September 30, 1928 with a recital given by Anton Brees.
The 13 duplicate treble bells were disconnected in 1948. Thirty-three bells were replaced in 1994 and two new bells were added, for a total of 50.
